MY BIO

EWM Internship ePortfolio

In fifth grade, I got my first job as Editor-in-Chief of the local town newspaper. You could imagine my excitement as I paraded through the village with my notebook and gel ink glitter pen, asking the local gardeners and businessmen to dish out current news about the community. At the end of the day, my team of journalists and I printed out The Daily Villager and passed them out to anyone that would grab a copy. My job lasted for one day at Enterprise Village, a mini town where kids lived out their adult dreams for one day. In fifth grade, my dream was to be a journalist. It hasn’t changed since. I was able to spend my summer at the Gray Lady, the "newspaper of record": The New York Times
